Japanese: The Fundamental Elements in Four Lessons

I learn languages quickly and created these lessons based on how I learn and the methods that have worked for me. This is an immersive approach designed to teach you to rely on the language you are learning, rather than on English. The lessons begin simply and introduce new concepts while reinforcing what has been presented. After completing the lessons you will be able to form complex sentences, speak of plans and experiences, describe your surroundings, and respond to questions on these subjects without translating.

Each lesson is broken down into steps consisting of a set of written examples and a corresponding audio version, followed by a set of exercises. A step could be comfortably completed in about one to three days.

A six-week course follows, which teaches the more subtle building blocks of Japanese.

The lesson content and organization are my own work. I recorded and engineered the audio. This alpha-implementation is in bootstrap. Future implementations will include a page optimized for mobile devices, and interactive excercises.
